Since I was 5 years old, I knew I wanted to be an artist. However, for years I struggled with my desire to be an artist and my responsibility to be a bread winner. I was worried how the real world would see me if I called myself an artist. I always knew what I wanted to do, but I was afraid to embrace my dream. |

Then one day the universe took my "job", my "home", and my "money". I left the world I had known for years to start over in a new place. Being miles away from my family, my home, and my life caused me to grab for the one thing that made me feel safe, my artwork. |

Now I create not because it makes me happy, not because it makes me free, not because it makes me feel safe…I create because I am an artist. |
