A new beginning was created in response to my earlier work. My earlier work was sad and melancholy.
I was afraid to use jovial emotion because i did not think I would be taken seriously as an artist.
I believed in the sad, tortured artist. I did not know how to bring my real personality to my work. One day I was challenged by a friend to create something that made a different statement, a new beginning.
